Who we are

This website is operated by Mashwork Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15734456, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Mashwork Ltd.

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms do not cover two other things:

• Our apps. Each app we publish is licensed to you under its own end user licence agreement, which is either shown in the app or linked from its App Store or Google Play listing. Where an app is distributed through the App Store without its own licence, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies.
• Client work. Projects we carry out for clients are governed by the written agreement we sign with that client, not by these terms.

Using the site

You may view, print and download pages from this site for your own use, including to assess whether to work with us.

You may not:

• Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or to any server or system connected to it.
• Introduce malware, or attack the site by denial of service or any similar means.
• Systematically extract content from the site to build a database or a competing service.
• Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notice.

We may withdraw or restrict access to the site at any time. We do not guarantee the site will always be available.

Our content

We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in this site and in the material published on it, including the text, layout, the Mashwork name and the Mashwork logo. Those rights are reserved.

The typefaces used on this site, Bricolage Grotesque and Instrument Sans, are used under the SIL Open Font Licence.

You may quote short extracts from the site with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce the site or substantial parts of it, or use our name or logo to suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist.

The information on this site

The content of this site is provided for general information about what we do. It is not technical, legal, financial or professional advice, and it is not a recommendation you should act on without talking to us about your own situation.

We take care over what we publish, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current or free of error. Descriptions of services, methods and technologies reflect our practice at the time of writing, and the field moves quickly.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. A project between us begins only when we have both signed a written scope.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a third-party site, we do so for information. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

• Loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings.
• Loss or corruption of data.
• Any indirect or consequential loss.
• Loss arising from your reliance on information published on this site.
• Loss caused by a virus or other harmful material acquired through your use of the site.

These limits apply to your use of this website. Liability on a client project is dealt with in the agreement for that project, and liability for an app is dealt with in that app's licence.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
